For Nike we built 12 images for artist-collaborations. The screens were used in a digital experience where users could vote on their favorite potential shoe design. The winning artist-designed shoe was eventually manufactured and sold.
The original creative direction was developed at Nike global with Man vs. Machine, but we were allowed to create take-downs from that look that were completely our own. The challenge of not knowing what the artists were going to design in the end led to us building the shoes in a way that didn't require full 3D modeling. We built the shoes in stacked layers that developed shadow lines and a more stylized look for all of the products.
The end experience was a huge hit and led to an instant sell-out of the most popular colorway.
